Solitaire

We left Sesriem after packing up and we were on our way again. Tar road for 20 odd kms and then back onto the Namibian sand roads. These were as good as sand roads get and we proceeded along nicely to Solitaire which is a well-known stop for travellers on the way to and from Swakopmund to Sesriem (Sossusvlei). 

Their “World famous Apple Strudel” is a thing of beauty with most customers tucking into it. Customary old trucks and cars outside and a lot of customers inside. Petrol and diesel available here.
