Beautiful and remote area - not too much around. A lack of animals everywhere. A lot of guys my age will know the Caprivi Strip from their youth. I would strongly suggest if you have never been back it is worth a visit. Never mind the stunning vista's the people are super friendly and the country seems to still be well run and everything is clean. No litter !!!!.

It is a beautiful area and I can only wish we will be back in the winter months when there is not so much water everywhere. June  & July definitely the time to visit. We leaving for Botswana our old home in the morning and will have an unscheduled stop in Chobe for a couple of nights just because we can. 

We stayed at Namushasha Lodge Campsite -6 large and well established sites with private ablutions - hot water via donkey that was lit twice a day for us.
