If you listen carefully you can here the hippo in the water right in front of our campsite! African night sounds are just the best!!

Stayed 3 nights at Nundi Safari Lodge & Campsite - beautiful spot. A little rough around the edges but owners very friendly and helpful. Is a good stop over if you in the area. No other lodges in the area appealed.

This region is renowned for The Bwabwata National Park and we spent two days driving both sides of the reserve. First day on Buffalo (although didn't see not one!) and 2nd day Mahango Core Area. Buffalo is very overgrown and sightings were fortuitus at best although we were lucky enough to be greeted by 4 lion as we drove in.

Mahango was much nicer to drive - open plains and clear views of the river, viewpoints and a picnic spot. Saw large herds of lewche, impala, kudu, elephant, warthog & zebra as well as many bird species. Great day made better with a bottle of bubbly.
